As a part of the Music of the Americas International Conductor Exchange Program, we are excited to host Susan Hernández Osés (Costa Rica) in Seattle
the week of March 13-18.
Susan is a director of the choral program at the Escuela de Musica Municipal de Santo Domingo, Heredia, Costa Rica We have two events planned where members can meet Susan and one dedicated event where you are invited to come and learn about and participate in Costa Rican music and movements associated with traditional Costa Rica.
Susan will also be holding clinics in Seattle Public Schools and with the Northwest Girlchoir.
The events are outlined below.

Happy Hour and Mirinesse Women’s Choir Concert
Friday, March 17
Join us for an evening of international connection and a wonderful concert experience with Mirinesse Women’s Choir.
6PM – We’ll start with dinner/happy hour (no host) at Phinney Market starting at 6pm where you can meet Susan and learn about her ICEP experience and music of Costa Rica.
Then we’ll head up the street to enjoy the concert presentation by Mirinesse at Phinney Ridge Lutheran at 7:30. Tickets available at the link below.
