Outstanding Choral Director Award
The Outstanding Choral Director Award is given to a choral director with 10 or more years of experience, is a current member of ACDA/WAACDA, participates in ACDA/WAACDA activities, maintains high performance and literature standards, and promotes choral music in his/her community. Outstanding Emerging Choral Director Award
The Outstanding Emerging Choral Director Award is given to a member who has 10 years or fewer choral directing experience, is a current ACDA/WA-ACDA member, participates in ACDA/WAACDA activities, maintains high performance and literature standards, and promotes choral music in his/her community. Spiritus Award
The Spiritus Award was created in 2012 to honor an individual, business, or organization who/which has made a significant contribution to choral music in Washington State. View Spiritus Award winners.
Leadership and Service Award
The recipient of the Washington ACDA Leadership and Service Award embodies the qualities associated with this honor: the conductor of outstanding choirs, programmer of a wide variety of high quality literature, an inspiring and effective clinician and adjudicator, an effective communicator, demonstrated loyalty and service to ACDA at the local, state, division, and national levels, and a model of strong character and integrity.
